Prague’s Tampas ballets and concerts are good introductions to the greatest hit classical pieces in spectacular venues. If you have attended full length professional performances in the past, theses sampler concerts may be a bit of a let down. On the plus side, it is wonderful there are so many job opportunities for artists compared to almost anywhere else in the world.

Wir sind ohne Erwartungen hin und ich fand - die Leistung der Tänzer beeindruckend - das Ambiente ok (nicht spektakulär aber auch nicht schrabblig) - die Geschichte sehr unterhaltsam (auch für nicht Experten) - die Länge genau richtig - die Musik sehr schön Das war live, das waren viele Tänzer, Kostüme, Geschichte, Choreographie … der Ticketpreis ok. Auch für Prag.

Principal dancers looked the part but the corps de ballet seemed to be just going through the motions. A pleasant afternoon but nothing to write home about.

We were really looking forward to being in Prague and experiencing a ballet in such an historic, cultural city. Maybe we were expecting a little too much, but some of the dancers were having to watch the others to figure out what to do next. It appeared they didn't know the routine very well and were not in sync. We were also disappointed that there was not a live orchestra. And when it came time for the curtain call, the director was on his way to center stage to take a bow when the curtains suddenly closed before he had the chance. All in all, it was more what I would expect from a high school performance than a professional one.

We were looking forward to this show, but we were very disappointed - to say the least. The tickets were quite expensive and I expected better - to be honest. 1. The localities - they smelled like a party was just finished - it was like beeing back in the old town party local in our home villages. 2. The staff was alright - but we got served the wrong drinks. 3. Lots of drunk / high visitors that was talking / laughing during the show. 4. The show it self: We were aware that this was a highlight-show of the Swan Lake - but come on: you don't have to make it that obvious. 5. The scene: it was poor quality. The backdrop, the lighting, the sound... 6. The dancers: well... I don't want to be to harsh or anything - but this has nothing to do with what is presented in an actual opera house. Let's just leave it there. We left in the intermission - and several more did. We were very disappointed by this show - mostly because we paid this much. We got the impression that this was a professional setup - but it wasn't. This felt like amateur-ballet. Sorry to say. Don't waste your money.

The performance was very good!

Hello, The performance was not very professional, you could get a sense that the main characters were very distant from each other and some of the other characters had an amateur skill set. I took my 2 teenage daughters to see this and honestly expected something more professional. I don't think I was the only person in the room to think this. For the cost of the tickets, I don't feel it was worth the money.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The production was very good and I really enjoyed it. The dancers were super fit and gave it their best. Well done I will be back again.

Nous avons été très déçues par la qualité du spectacle et du décor. Le niveau n'est pas à la hauteur de celui des ballets que nous avons l'habitude de voir en France. De plus, la version condensée rend l'histoire difficilement compréhensible.

The performance was amazing and the main ballerina was amazing. I enjoyed the music and the customs. The added a bet of comedian element to the show which made it more appealing.

For me and my daughter (13 years) it was the first ballet we have seen. So we are maybe not in position to rate the performance on ballet skills. But we enjoyed the show a lot and we had a great evening. It was really entertaining.

The ballerinas were not technically that good and the theater was way too hot. It was a tourist attraction not a real ballet. I really over paid for it.

Très beau spectacle, quelques imperfections et grosse liberté inappropriée quant à la fin de l'histoire... Entrée du théâtre vieillot et d'un autre âge. Une rénovation et une modernisation de l'accueil du public s'impose

The price was way too high for this event (comparing with National Theatre): - no orchestra - the decoration was a bit damaged (2 candles were not working, one tree was degradeting)

The ballet dancers were professional and I enjoyed the show.

Lovely performance but had some placement/spacing issues as well as synchronization problems but overall great!

It was well done and the performers were very good. I just think the set could be better and maybe more elegant.

The event idea is good but the only dancer really worth the price was the female soloist playing Odette. Everyone else was really under the average and way below the price of the ticket.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable show and it has inspired us to go and watch the full performance. The performers had great skill and retold the story beautifully. Highly recommended. This has been the highlight of my partner’s birthday weekend.

Family friendly show.

Not a real ballet, the “dancers” were just walking on the stage. One almost fell twice. Felt like a high school show. Would not recommend.

Le corps de ballet est de niveau amateur, la chorégraphie peu dansante, l'engagement des danseurs faible également. Très décevant.

Beautiful play done by talented ballet dancers! While the music wasn't an orchestra, it made it feel like there was one in front of the stage and definitely felt real. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend and I would see it again.

What I received comparing to the price I paid was very good. The show was great and the venue was fine. I enjoyed my time very much.

Mesmerising performance of Swan Lake - the dancers were all incredible and it was my favourite activity of my 3 (very active!) days in Prague. Would fully recommend.

Le ballet était très moyen, 2/3 danseurs dansaient bien, mais l'ensemble était très moyen, et les moments importants du ballet n'étaient pas mis en valeur. La fin proposée ne fait pas partie des fin proposées en général, qui sont des fins tristes. Avec une troupe moyenne, sur une bande son qui ne rend pas comme un orchestre, on ne propose pas des pris comme cela. La prestation valait la moitié moins

Superb dance and production. Everyone was "en pointe". This is the second time we have seen this danced at the Hybernia. Last time, 3 years ago. Enjoyed the show emmensley and will highly recommend to others.
